RJ Schaefer

Along with a degree in music with a minor in music composition, RJ has had multiple performance experiences within the marching arts including Rhythm X, The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps, The Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps, and Cap City Percussion. During his time teaching at multiple schools in the Cincinnati area, RJ has sharpened his writing skills in the marching percussion world.

While writing to the skill-level of the ensemble, RJ is able to provide engaging, fun-to-play material to his clients. With the goal to be serving the ensemble, RJ mixes achievability with challenge and fun with functionality.

RJ is available for both battery percussion and front ensemble arrangement.
