RJ Schaefer

RJ has been teaching music for multiple years, both in group settings and privately. Utilizing his university education and his performance experiences, RJ believes in holistic instruction and individual mentorship.

In the marching arts world, RJ is currently a Tenor Technician for the Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps and the Marching Band Percussion Director at Fairfield High School (Fairfield, OH). He has previously instructed at Hamilton High School (Hamilton, OH) and Colerain High School (Cincinnati, OH). He also serves on the Flam 7 Education Team by uploading educational content to MusicChunks. 
 
RJ is available for private or group instruction in the areas of percussion (concert, mallet, marching, drum set), music theory, and music composition; and is also available to give clinics surrounding music, performance, practice, auditions, etc.
