"Until..." is a mallet trio comprised of a glockenspiel, vibraphone, and marimba running approximately four minutes in duration.

 

This piece is a moment in time, an exploration of the present. The unanswered questions posed in the melodic lines draw listeners in while the supporting harmony in the marimba offers depth and space enough to breathe. The cathartic unison choruses give a release of emotion as the performers are able to express themselves and shape their sound in whichever way they feel is right for them. This piece is both stagnant and traveling, a duality of sound.
